Supply memory missing on imaging drum

I get "supply memory missing on imaging drum" and the printer will not work. I have tried unloading and reloading the software, but that did not fix the problem

SOURCE: "color cartridge missing"

Try cleaning the contacts on both the color ink cartridge and the carriage with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol. It nothing works, the color ink cartridge is likely faulty.

SOURCE: 10.1004 SUPPLY MEMORY ERROR ON IMAGING DRUM

Memory Supply Error 10.00.00 The printer is unable to read or write to the print

cartridge e-label, or the e-label is not on the cartridge.


Basically what is happening is the printer cannot read the small chip on the toner cartridge. The chip is located on toner cartridge as it is inserted into the printer. 1 - Make sure the toner is firmly seated into the printer. 2 - Power cycle the printer with the toner out of the printer. Install the toner back into the printer. 3 - Install another toner cartridge. 3 - Verify that the e-label connector is firmly seated in connector

firstly check whether the problem is internal or external-
Have the printer print out the config page- if you can see the image then the issue is external to the printer- check your PC settings
If you cant see an image-
You say you have allready changed the toner unit, was this before the fault or after?
under where the drum/toner cartridge sits there should be a Black 'transfer' roller that will line up with the drum surface when inserted- if this is missing or failed then the image cannot be ' transferred' from the drum to the paper. this is just one possibility, if your not sure wheher the transfer roller is working - stop a print half way through- remove the paper and toner unit - slide the drum surface protector to the side and look at the drum surface for a latent reversed image in toner on the surface of the drum, if you can see an image the problem lies with the transfer element, if you cant see an image then it could possibly be the charge chorona/ HVT PWB / Laser unit, main Pca, power supply hope this helps

Reseat the toner cartridge. Turn the printer off, and then back on again. You may want to try a new cartridge, but if that does not eliminate the error, call your HP support line. If the imaging-drum light is still blinking but the Attention light is not on, you must replace the imaging drum before the printer can continue printing. The imaging-drum light might be blinking by itself or at the same time another light is on or blinking. If another light is also on or blinking, turn the imaging-drum light off in the simulator and turn the other light on or blinking to isolate the condition. The printer has determined that it cannot read or write to the e-label on the imaging drum.Reseat the imaging drum, and then power cycle the printer. If this does not work, replace the imaging drum. If the imaging drum light is still blinking but the Attention light is not on, turn the printer off, and then back on. If the problem persists, replace the imaging drum E-label reader. The imaging-drum light might be blinking by itself or at the same time another light is on or blinking. If another light is also on or blinking, turn the imaging-drum light off in the simulator and turn the other light on or blinking to isolate the condition.

Printer error ====> see your documentation and call for service if necessary. how do you fix this?


The error code may or may not be helpful if they are provided at all in the documentation. I would try just completely reseting the printer. Unplug, reconnect all the cables and unload and reload paper etc. Fresh start - Also make sure the printer driver software is compatible with the computer you are using. Printer software can typically be downloaded from the manufactures website very easily and installed. Just select your printer model and computer and the online screens should guide you through the process. let me known if you need further assistance:) Hope this is helpful :)

When start my iRC3200, the touchscreen display no present any change and stay the loading sistem...please wait. image massage, but the copier make the ATR control completly. no code, no change in massage...


Try this :Shutdown the machine by unplugging from the main AC supply.Pull out the drum units and reinsert and re start if problem persist you need to call your service provider ,for this could be the problem of boot rom and HDD.this can't be done by end user

Replace the transfer belt. Known issue with this machine.

Orange light is flashing and printer is not printing. It is not the crescent , not the triangle, but the one abve the triangle and below the colored catridge rotation button.

TRANSFER PHOTOS TO DESKTOP


Assumimg that the software is installed and you are able to scan from the computer.
And also assuming that when you insert the memory card you are able to view and print them from the printer as stand alone.
Download and install the latest version of Photosmart essential from HP.com.
Then try to transfer images.
If it does not work....insert the software disk and then browse the disk..you will find a folder called Setup...inside that you will find a folder called Unload or Unloadsupport..inside that you will find unload.msi...right click on it and then left clcik on repair and then try to transfer images.

Can't reload software


what you can do is see if you can view the files on the cd. what I do with situations like this is:

1. place cd in drive
2. plug in printer
3. the plug and play process should begin
4. go through the wizard till it asks for drivers
5. use the browse option
6. search through the cd for the driver location
7. when you see the 'ok' button become available then try
8. if it doesn't work with the one file.... try another...

this is a bit tedious but it works. sometimes its easy to find the drivers as the folder they are in usually says drivers... other times its not as simple and you have to do the manual search...
