I' ve a problem with Asus P4P800S- X

"I' ve a P4P800S X and when start always says press F1 and F2 I tried everything change bios battery - change windows but i'm so desperate

Hi,
Please enter the bios check all the settings if all are correct then press f10 save the settings and exit.

The problem must be with the CMOS battery. That causes the BIOS setup to not retain changes, including the system clock. Verify also whether the time is correct.

When i start the computer not bootup befor few days its working fine but when i start the computer its need always press f1 to continue i replace the cmos battery but still problem same but now a days its...


while computer starts before pressing f1 key press del key... you will go into the bios of *********** board... you can change these alert settings there... you will have an option that says wait for F1... select NO to that option and save the settings and exit from bios...

Hello!


That's the 2nd time i hear that kind of problem. Your mboard battery is new, and you did not press "f1" at first start.

so i guess , the cmos time is not change, try go to the bios setup and load "bios setup default." after that change the time setting on the bios. please find time setting and set it with a current ime in your area. after setting press 'F10" to save and exit the setting, the system will restart.
