Im having trouble obviously, trying to connect it to a new computer, cant find the installation mannual, do you know if it has any other connections apart from the power plug to the machine, the usb to the back of the computer, the phone line cord?
Downloaded drivers and i go through set up to the point of putting in the usb in the back of computer and swiching the machine on and it dosent seem to register the next button stays grey and i cant go any further, any suggestions

Are your usb ports correctly configured ? Are you using the right printer software/drivers for your windows 7 (32bit or 64bit) ? Try uninstalling everything and try again, but don't plug in the printer until it tells you to.
Create a new folder on your desktop and name it.Un-intall printer and printer software completely.Go to Brother's website and navigate to their drivers/downloads or support menu.Select your model, choose the relevant software and download to the new folder you created on your desktop.Power down your computer.Reconnect the printer to the computer and turn printer on.Windows will detect new hardware and ask if you have the manufacturers install cd or a location to check for install files.Direct the wizard to your new software, follow the rest of the setup instructions and your done
Sorry to hear that. Brother's have alot of problems with this sort of thing. Just so you know, I even called Brother and they said you're model printer didn't exist. What a joke. I said if it doesn't exist then how come I'm looking at a manual on my screen as we speak for that model printer that I downloaded from their site. They still told me it doesn't exist. I said then maybe we're not really talking on the phone! Again, sorry about the printer. If you have any other problems or just need advice feel free to ask. That's why I'm here. Just for you!
