Thanks for the advice, but I have neither a DVD nor a VCR.

I have a fairly new 37" lcd Polaroid FLM-373B t.v.. I have it connected to a DVD player and a separate VCR player. I have used it this way about 6 months and have had no problems with it prior. Yesterday I was watching vcr's tapes and then about 10 minutes later, without doing anything differently,I turned the vcr back on and clicked play and got a blue screen on my t.v.that said no signal. Nothing came on and I could hear the vcr playing. This went on all night, all day today. I thought it was bad weather but the cable is working on all of the other t.v.'s and vcr's in the house and there is no problem on any of the other t.v.'s. This is the only LCD t.v. we have and I wonder if you have ever heard of this before. I can watch any channel on t.v.,just get the dreaded blue screen when I power up my vcr connected to it. I have checked all the cables and they are plugged in tightly as before, and I can find no reason for this to have happened within about 10 minutes of watching the vcr. No signal is in the upper right corner of the t.v. I have also checked all of the connections to the t.v. I even un plugged the vcr and the t.v. and waited a while then reconnected and powered up. Same problem. Any help??? Pam

Try connecting a DVD or VCR and use the video and audio from there to connect it to the audio and video input on your TV.
Hope this helps.

OK. Try to connect a small wire inside the Antenna input and search for any OFF air channels that maybe available in your area if you do not have cable or satellite.

Just bought a 19" Insignia LED TV. Specs of the TV keeps appearing on and off at the bottom of the tv. Don't want to keep seeing it. How can I make it stop?

If the actual specs of the television keep appearing, the television could be in demo mode. Demo mode is turned on when the television is being displayed in the store. Is this a display open box model? There is an option in the display or set up menus to activate or deactivate demo or store mode.

If it is not the specs of the television but rather the channel and program information you are seeing, you may be having a different problem. In this case it is a signal issue you are having, and the only way to remedy that is to connect the television to a cable/set top box with RCA or component cables or to install a signal booster. http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-Booster-484095-001-00-Bi-Directional-Amplifier/dp/B000066E6Y

This problem requires a service technician to check out you television for component failures on the power supply board and the main board. You have a failure in either drive voltage to power you video processor or a break down in the signal transferring components. It could be as simple as cold solder joints or a failure of capacitors in the signal processing circuits. They have a self healing components and will restore temporary operation for short periods of time. You could also have a failing video processor chip and chips that are being damaged everytime you turn your unit on.. These problems usually occurs from over heating going on inside you television. You need to get it checked out before it get worse. Here is the number for Insignia Customer service: 1-877-467-4289. Hope this helps you with your problem.

Insignia ns-lcd15 no picture

This is the best solution for your problem as a 40 year experience with wires etc. Go to the source of your cable signal connector . Open it and clean the terminals with emery paper , sand the end of the cable shiny clean from corrosion , get a new barrel connectors with gold terminals if possible lengthen the ends of the cable , insert and tighten good, use thick rg-16 or rg 40 cable with good insulation ends crimped professionally with a crimpier or buy ready made , not from dollar store. Get a gold plated professional splitter if you need one or two , it will cost about 15 or more each . Make the cable runs as short as possible, using the thick good cables. If needed get a signal magnifier. From radio shack or the source etc. Connect them good and tight . Ground the splitters . Problem solved , you will get crystal clear channel 2 to 7 including 3 and 4 . Isolate the TV cable from other cables and power wires. Vitally

Insignia LCD TV won't recognize computer input...

Heres the dealyo.
Click start button
Click control panel
Click display
Click settings
adjust screen resolution (probably have to go down) until the tv displays your computer
if this did not work, you will have to adjust bit rate from 32 to 16. Fiddle with the settings until the magic happens.
You will not get any sound unless you use an audio jack plugged into t.v.
