Question about Panasonic DVD-S25
Disc is put in, it spins excessively and noisily, then a message "Type of disc can not be played" appears. Thank you.
It means the format of the type of cd u put in cannot be played by the system.
try playing the disc it on another player, if it does the same, it means the disc cannot be played. some players dont play mp3 format, blu ray, and some others, so you can check the kind of disc you want to play on it.

Inspect and clean your disc Take a close look at the
bottom side of your game, movie, or music disc (the side without a label or
image). Are there scratches? Excessive scratches or smudges can prevent your
console from reading the disc. Clean your disc Hold the disc
by the edges without touching the top or bottom surfaces. Using a soft,
clean, slightly damp cloth, lightly wipe from the center of the disc outward.
· Note Use
ONLY water to clean the disc.
the disc is clean, load the disc into your console and see if the disc plays.
