Question about Canon PIXMA iP3300 Printer

Canon Pixma iP3300 printer

The printer is only about 3 months old, and it has just started feeding through multiple pages when I print. even if I just want 1 page printed, it pulls through 3 or 4 or more. I print over 100pages per day so this is VERY frustrating. Any help would be great.

Problem solved. press and hold the RESUME button on the printer (just below the power button) until the power button flashes green three times. Release the RESUME button and the paper roller will automatically clean itself. Do this twice and it should work perfectly.

hi chette,
its a common problem for printer dye ink, have you try to use other cartridge? a brand new one maybe?

if you insist using the old one, try these step.
1. use vinegar to clean your cartridge head
2. put a little vinegar into the cartridge
3. try deep cleaning it.

it only work for dye ink base not else :D

The prints are coming out distorted and not aligned. Have tried print head, deep cleaning and nozzle check. Cartridges are over 6 months old though.

You must align the printing heads - the option is there, in the same Maintenance window as the cleaning one. Follow the procedure.

Canon ip3300 paper feed not working properly

There is a small switch on the bottom left on the front of the printer that was selecting envelope feed instead of paper feed. Changing this fixed the problem.

Printer pulling to the rght

Do you print labels with this printer? It seems like someting is either stuck to the roller or jamed in the paper path.

Cannon pixma ip3300 printer

I have a Epson Stylus photo printer that I keep turned off . I turn it on only when I want to print something which is seldom. From a cold start mine takes over the  two moinutes going through some sort of routine.  I have had and used this printer through three sets of ink and it has always been this way. My other realy old Tractor feed "pin printer" I turn on and print as soon as it as it starts. I think the new printers warm up and go through that routine. I believe it to be normal, Yes.    Even if it is on it stll take much more time that the ribbon one.
