Dell 1320 c yellow light on won't print changed out ink to try and fix still not printing

ORANGE LIGHT IS BLINKING AND PRINTER WILL NOT PRINT


The Amber light is designated as the "Ink Error" light. With regards to a Hewlett Packard printer, the Amber light is indicating that one of the Ink Cartridges (Tri-Color/Black) is empty, defective, unrecognizable, or just simply needs to be changed. The procedure is; lift up the front cover, look at the Black Ink Cartridge, and examine the Ink Level Window on the Cartridge, located at the center of the Cartridge. If the square window appears to be a solid Green then that means the cartridge is completely full. If it is Half Green/Half Black then it is indicating that the cartridge is half way full, and if the square window is completely Black, then the cartridge is completely empty. Also, remove and examine the Tri-Color Cartridge. If the Tri-Color Cartridge feels very light or if the Tri Colors on the bottom of the Cartridge appear to be discolored i.e. All Magenta, All Cyan, or All Yellow, then the Cartridge should immediately be changed. After replacing the Black or Tri-Color Cartridge, your printers Green Power Light will flash and allow you to continue your print job
You can also try:
Clean the cartridge and carriage contacts with a cotton swab moistened with water. If you have refilled the cartridges don't assume that they will still work. If cleaning doesn't help you may have a failed cartridge even if it is not refilled.
If you are getting a grinding noise, clean the carriage rod with alcohol and lubricate it with a few drops of Tri-Flow, available in 2 oz. squeeze bottles at cycle shops.

HP 812C will not print yellow but everything else is A-OK Repeated cleanings have NO effect. Cleaned contacts on printer where it connects to cartridge, no effect. HP 23 cartridge only has about 10 pages...

It you haven´t used your printer for a while It sounds like the yellow has clogged up in the print head.
Although you have ink you need to print something regularly about every 10 days to keep the tiny jets open
otherwise it´s like trying to pass a camel through the eye of a needle.

So the inks may have clogged up?

The empty weights are 65g C6615A [No. 15] black and
90g C1823A color ink cartridge
anything over that... 1g = 1ml of unused ink.

So if you still have ink you can easily unclog it with a HTML clipboard Magic Inkjet Flush Kit (find it on Ebay)

I have a 1320 printer that just prints blank pages


If ink is ok , then you may need to reinstall printer drivers.

Unplug printer USB.
Go to control panel>>Installed printers and delete existing printer installation.
Reinstall printer driver software using printer CD.

what about the ink levels...open the backdoor of the machine and check for any obstacle....disconnect all the cables..press and hold down the power button for 30 sec..reconnect all cables..try again...try connecting the machine directly to the walljack.

the printer cartridges have the ink Blue (light blue), red (pink) and yellow (lime).I think your printer printing fine do not worry all the printer have same ink........If you have the problem with color on print outs :you this link ::

You can get the manuals for the 3100cn printer from the Dell support website (http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/3100cn/en/index.htm). They include some troubleshooting steps for determining what is causing a number of different problems with the printer. Did you make sure there was nothing blocking the toner on that side of the toner cartridges you replaced? If you haven't already tried it, I would also suggest cleaning the printer to see if that fixes the print problems you are seeing. The User's Guide (in the link above) has a section describing how to do this. If that doesn't fix things, run the tests for print quality and contact Dell support (contact information is in the manual, or on the Dell.com website).
