Question about Panasonic TH-42PX75U 42 in. Plasma Television
I had the 7 blinking lights problem, after tv shut off it came back on stating "error occured problem fixed. 5 minutes later tv shut down and wouldn't come back on. Service tech said it was a "A" PCB what is this? Can I buy it myself and install
Defective Board (possibility)
SC, SU, SD, P board (SC,SU,SD>D,P).
the connectors SC2(*2),
and SC20 to the SC board. Remove the SU board. Turn the TV on. Does the TV power up
and stay on IF YES REPLACED SU BOARD IF ON

and stay on? IF YES REPLACED SD BOARD

The Error Code designations indicating a malfunction, or no malfunction, are listed below:
"12" ... indicates no error has occurred.
"21" ... X-Ray Protect circuit.
"22" ... Short Protect circuit.
"23" ... Horizontal Deflection failure.
"24" ... Vertical Deflection failure.
you will have to count the blinks, then there is a short pause and then following a second set of blinks this tells what is wrong with set.
