I was just playing with my phone (opening and closing it) when I was bored and when I looked down, the screen was completely white! I shut it off for a while and then when I turned it back on, the Verizon Wireless start up screen was frozen there and still is.What can I do?
Mp phone froze and I was able to get it back for a couple times but after a week it would not get past trying to startup.
I tried charging it more thinking it was the battery. A Verizon Rep tried charging it but no success there.
I just want to be able to access it so that I can PURGE MY PHONE NUMBERS.
Please Help. Will the Verizon Tech support be able to access it?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

If your HP computer refuses to power down, this means that there are still programs open that Windows can't close. Normally when you select the "Shut Down" button from your "Start" menu, Windows closes all open programs, then closes itself, and your basic input/output system (BIOS) turns off all of your hardware. If Windows can't close all open programs, your computer won't be able to power off. This means that you must close these programs yourself.
Right-click on the window of an open program on your Windows taskbar (Bottom of Screen) Click "Close Window." Windows manually closes the program. If a window appears on-screen indicating that Windows cannot get the program to close, click the "Force Close" button in this window to have Windows force the program to shut down. Repeat "Step 1" for any additional programs that are open on your computer. Click "Start." Click "Shut Down." Hope this helps.
It won't play for one of two reasons: 1. There is something inside the DVD player, which keeps it from playing. 2. The DVD player's battery has run out of juice and can no longer play, meaning the player needs to be replaced.
It is the boot rom menu for the device. Just power it off then back on. IF it comes back then your OS on your phone is toast. It means your phone is in recovery mode. Hold down the volume up and power button at the same time, then select the option to reboot by going up or down with the volume keys and pressing the power button to confirm your selection.
PLease do a hard reset ... Here is how you do it .

Thumps up if this works ..:-)
look for a little button or hole that you can insert something into much like how the refridgerator light works, or the washing machine goes to spin with the lid open. i taped my button down and the error went away. can also do it on some models if you have a low ink message.

You can also get tips & tricks from www.htcwiki.com It has the latest and great updates, software, even known issues if you ever come across this. HTC does recommend that you do a master/hard reset once a quarter to keep it moving smoothly. Also, ensure you don't have a lot of open running programs. Perhaps once a day, clean the cashe and history. Do a soft reset (aka battery pull) once or twice a week. All depends on how hard you play with this lovely PDA device!
you need to get your chit together. Get away from all distractions and study for half an hour with a ten minute break and then another half hour. YOU need to apply yourself nobody can do this for you, there are no magic pills or answers, just get off your duff and stop looking for someone else to fix YOUR problem on this,
Sounds to me like you have a stuck key somewhere on your phone. Was it dropped? Or maybe you hit it too hard. Look closely at the buttons on the side of the screen . you know, the ones that normally change your volume when it's open. One of those is malfunctioning in the down or closed position.
