The drain pump is faulty. Turn off the power. Lower the outlet hose and see if the water runs out if it does good. If not bail as much out as you can. remove the front cover if it is a removable panel. Most are. Acces the drain pump. You may find it wet around the pump. if you remove the hose into the pomp all of the water will floe out. By pinching this hose and with a bit of patience, all of the water will run out onto the floor and hopefully down the grille in the floor. Then remove the pump and go buy a new one ....fit the new one and wallah!!! A fixed washer......good luck if you are not competent to do this the get assistance from a qualified person..

How to change water pump on 04 endeaver. It just started making noise on slow sharp turns. Fluid level is good and belt is not loose.

The noise could thn be coming from the power steering pump, its worth checking before you go for the water pump!

Do I have to remove the whole power steering to install water pump?

I think on that model you have to remove the power steering pump pulley first before you can get to the rest of the power steering pump mounting bolts.
You can rent a special puller / installer from one from your local auto parts store.
Once you have pulled the pulley and removed the pump mounting bolts, just drop the whole pump unit with the hoses attached out of the way of the water pump.
Good Luck.

Water wont drain from machine and wont agitate

In most cases, the water pump gets blocked by an object. All sorts of objects, and clothing material can go into the pump propellers and jam it.

If you know how to get to the pump and check that, you will save yourself a service call out.

Drain the water from the machine first before checking. Also make sure you unpug from the power point.

Once you check all that, and it still does not pump, then the pump is faulty. In some cases the lid switch may the culprit.

Good Luck.

Gould 1/2hp submergible well pump cycles on and off constantly. low to no water pressure .The pressure switch remains in the closed position. Power to pump side of pressure switch good. pump runs 15...

My first thought was that of a water logged tank which causes short cycling, from your notes the tank is good (the tank may be partially water logged though) If the tank is ok and your getting short cycling (and the switch is good) I would guess your check valve down the well has failed. As the pump creates pressure then shuts off the water may be going right back down the well causing the pump to cycle again. This could also account for the poor water pressure as the check valve may be stuck slightly open allowing the system to loose pressure but only allowing a small amount of flow by when running. There could be a leak within the pumps drop-pipe and your loosing pressure through this leak. I expect you'll have to have the pump pulled.
I hope this may have helped,
Tom

Have honda karcher 5.0 pressure washer and i cant get it to spray any water or pressure out the gun at all? Why??

Hi,

That is a on going problem with power washers the pump not working, than works sporadically. the main cause is leaving the pressure hose hooked up to the machine over a long period of ,not draining hose & machine, in the winter time the hose & pump willfreeze causing hose & pump to expand and burst. build up of calcium deposits from hard water clogging up pump nozzle, valves in the gun handle, clogging hose fittings and screens.one of these has to be your problem.you can find a parts brake down at KARCHER.COM.orRJ BOWERS.COM . and manuals, these are good info, sites, hope this helps, MrFixIt,oh could you please rate this solutions

If it is not leaking water anywhere and the nozzle is OK then go HERE
Turn it off and shut the water of. Go to pate 2.1 of the manual
Carefully remove part #2. Pull out part # 1 and make sure the O-rings are in good shape ad are lubricated with a good waterproof grease. Re-assemble and try it.

Thanks for contacting Fixya

Humming pump throws beaker

It's because you may have a defective starting capacitor or a stuck-up motor or pump. If you know how to check a capacitor, do so. If not try replacing the old one. If the problem still persist, try to turn the shaft with your hand. If you can't turn it. You might have a defective motor or pump bearings.

lonestarr, the pump would be the first culprit to check. I believe that the pump in this model is electric and not driven by a pulley, so switching out should be easy. First you want to verify that you have power going to the pump while in the drain cycle. If you have power going to it and it's not pumping water out you can be pretty sure that is the problem. The front panel can be removed by removing the two screws at the bottom and lifting out. Now you can get a good look at the motor and pump assy. The part number for the pump is WH23X10009. Priced around 85.00. Catriver...post back.
