Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
Probably, the "LCD inverter" has failed -- take the laptop into a dark room -- do you see a FAINT image of your "Windows desktop"?
If so, it's a $20 part to replace, but rent a qualified technician (1 hour @ $60/hour) to safely and properly replace the inverter.
Or, spend $200 to replace the LCD (plus $60 "labour").
