Question about Nokia N95 Cellular Phone
Sir i dont think its the sim socket...coz when i push the start button, and the phone starts to initialize, i immediately put the slider to close mode, and then it starts to read the sim..the logo of the network provider appears on the screen, and when u go to the phonebook, it reads the stored phonenumbers from the sim.but when u try to make a text message, u cannot open the Write Message menu, and when u receive a text message from other phone, it comes with no message(blank)...another thing is that, when u push the start button and initialize, and u did not close the slider, the unit automatically shuts off, with its light on the side continouosly blinking.......please help me...thank u.
Try resetting your phone to factory settings. It's recommended that you turn off the PIN number and the Security number (12345 if you didn't change it) For Pin and Security go to:
Menu/Tools/Settings/General/Security/Phone and SIM card, Certificate management, or Security module.
For Reset go to:
It should work, but it might clear all your stored data.
