Question about Dishwashers
There may be a shard of broken glass stuck in the wash pump, this is very common. or it may be the capacitor that has worn out. try gaining access to the wash pump and with a slotted screw driver, turn the shaft at the back of the motor, if it turns freely, with EXTREME CAUTION, start the machine up and when the motor should be running, turn the shaft with the flat screw driver and if it runs as normal, replace the capacitor, that will solve your problem. If on the other hand the motor is jammed when you initialy turned the shat, there will be glass or something similar stuck in it. hope this has been beneficial to you.
