Question about GPS
You need the husband's passcode. The only other option is to reset the device's password which would make the husband aware of the fact that his TomTom has been tampered with.
A much more covert solution is for the wife to purchase a GPS tracker and plant it in her husband's car. She would only have to retreive it to charge it up from time to time. GPS trackers come with a subsciption service so that you can logon to a website and see everywhere the GPS tracker went. They are very small and many parents place them in their children's school bags to track them.
Just look up "GPS Tracker" on the Internet and you will find plenty of options.
I hope this helps.
