Hello. Clean that brown stained glass fast using this method:
1. Put on a pair of rubber gloves to save your hands, even though this method is not toxic.
2. Pour 1/2 cup of baking soda into a small bowl and add a tiny amount of water at a time until you have a paste as thick as latex paint.
3. Cover the glass with this paste and leave it for at least ten minutes. Don't leave it too long as then it will totally dry and you will have a more difficult time removing it.
4. Rinse it off with hot water and watch the grease and gunk come right off.
5. Prevent grease build-up in your oven by frequently wiping it with vinegar between deep cleanings.
6. If there is grime between the layers of glass you will have to take the door apart. This will require a friend to help you lift the door off the hinges. To do this, just open the door until is stays open [about 1/4] then carefully pull on both sides of the door equally to remove it. Put it on a flat surface so you can remove the screws and lift off the inner panel.
Regards, Joe

How do i open the oven windows to clean in between the 2 glasses

Assuming you've removed the door, lay it down on a blanket and look at the bottom. Usually there are 3 or 4 screws there - remove them. Then remove the 2 screws that hold the handle to the door. At this point, you should be able to separate and remove the outer door & glass panel. 90% of all your spills and drips can be cleaned at this point. I do not recommend taking the rest of the door apart, as it gets more complicated to disassemble and especially re-assemble correctly.

Cleaning between glass panes in door

Beverly, unfortunately the door glass in most oven doors is a sealed package unit. They are normally not a user serviceable part to be able to clean them. Wish I could be of more help.

Cleaning glass in oven door double glass

You would have to take the door apart. Two screws at the handle and 3 screws on the bottom. BE sure to take the door off the oven first and lay everything on a soft sheet. Do not put uneven pressure on the door glass, wear safety glasses and do not over tighten any screws.

Exterior glass trim on Kenmore Electric Range 880-5981

While waiting for someone else to answer my question, I fiddled around with the door parts. I managed to reassemble them! Here's how:

1. start with the glass panel. Slide the glass panel into the slot at the bottom of the front door frame on the stove.

2. next attach the handle. There are slots on the bottom of the handle that fit into the top of the glass panel. Slide the handle slots into the top of the glass panel.

3. screw the handle onto the oven door using the predrilled holes on the inside face of the oven door.

4. last, attach each of the two side trim strips. Slide the top of each strip into the bottom of the handle on each side of the oven door. Then slightly bend the strip outwards so that they are short enough to fit into the bottom slot of the oven door frame on each side of the glass panel.

I wouldn't reccomend digging down much further htat that though, too many screws and panels and nonsense.
