I thought my struts had worn out, the front boot is also torn from this problem. New struts and front boot. Still appears to be posessed by the devil!! Is there a screen in the drain somewhere stopping some of the water from draining? This would make sense of my problem if the pump couldn't get all the water out of the machine, clothes stay wet and go nuts in spin. I will look myself and hope for a response if my search is unsuccessful.

Re: My washer clangs and dances like crazy!!!
Although no screen , quite possible foreign debris( sock, bra underwire, washcloth or change in drain hose or pump itself preventing proper drainage in allotted time. open the hoses and have a look see

Sounds like some article of clothing got between the door glass and door boot and pulled the rubber door boot away from the front of the washer. Check and make sure the rubber boot is not torn. If it is ok you should be able to slip the lip of the door boot back onto the front of the washer, make sure you get it in the grove. Then put the wire retainer back around the boot, you may need an extra hand or two to hold it and stretch the spring back on. Hope this helps
check the inner struts on the bottom of the tub you need to remove the front panel some have a split lower section so you can access inside where the struts are also check that the struts are not worn out hope this helps
It is not too difficult to replace the boot. You have to remove the door (remove the screws that go into the door frame, not the door itself, and tilt the door out). Remove the screws on the opposite side of the door frame and remove the front panel (this will hinge on the bottom). From there, remove the soap dispenser bezel (4 phillips screws) and the two brackets (5/16" nutdriver) that are located in the front, just under the top. Now the top will tilt up. The boot will be pressed into the white plastic boot bezel (tongue and groove style) this needs to be pulled away from the bezel at this point. Now, remove the (4) 5/16" screws that hold the boot bezel in place and put aside. There is a wire ring with a spring that holds the boot to the drum, carefully roll the ring off the boot, it may snap on you so be careful. Pull old boot off and replace with new. Make sure to align the new boot with the indicators on the drum. *****NOTE!!! A bad boot is often an indicator of other part failures, most common of these are the shocks/struts that are under the drum assembly. If these are bad, your new boot will go bad quickly.*******
you might have a bent door hinge, but most likely you have a worn door boot. its the grey rubber thing that the glass seals to. try to lift up on the door to get the hinges back into place and if that doesnt work then you might need to replace the door boot. look at the edge of the boot where the glass hits it. the glass must seal to the rubber and if the rubber is worn or torn then it wont seal. not an easy piece to replace but it can be done. i wouldnt recommend trying it first as you will find it very tight to get your hands into and the clamps are hard to figure out as well.
the way to replace it is you undo seal from front which might be a thin spring clamp behind the lip of the door seal it will be metal undo your lid look down the front of your washer to see the inside of the back of your door seal it will either be another bigger spring clamp or a screw clamp undo door seal will pullout replace backwards to how youve undone m8
