Question about Frigidaire FRS23R4A Side by Side Refrigerator
Hi, if the condenser fan is up and running at the back, what about the compressor? When the fan is on, the compressor should also be on. Place your hand on top of the compressor, but carefully as it could be very HOT if it is locked up! If it is hot, more then likely the compressor has failed and is off on its overload. If you can hear it click on and off so often, it is stuck and tripping on the overload. Check the condenser coil in back to make sure it has no layer of dust covering the front of the coil. This will cause internal pressures in the system to be very high causing the compressor to stop. Check and make sure the fan in the freezer, evaporator fan is also running. Check what I have asked of you and keep me posted.
