4 wheel drive on 2001 chev blazer won't kick in..lights flash, hear sound under floor board as if something moved/slid but won't go into 4 wheel

It sounds like the motor for engaging the 4wd isn't completely engaging, you're going to have to crawl under the truck and watch it while someone engages it. I cannot express enough how dangerous this could be to the person who climbs under the vehicle, take every precaution necessary even as far as lifting the truck up on jack stands on all 4 corners with all wheels off the ground.

Grease fittings front end

certain durangos, have the fittings on the ends of the tie rods, and the ball joints, but it is different for 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive models... if you do not see the grease fittings on the ball joints, or the tie rods that means they can not be greased... check the boots on them tho, if there is any tearing, or the boot is missing or broken in any way, that part will need to be taken out and replaced...if the suspension part has no grease fitting in place, this indicates it is sealed and doesn't require periodic lubrication

4 Wheel drive not engaging.

After finding a vacuum line that was off from the auto body shop that never was reconnected , after they removed it when they replaced the left side fender from a crash. Reconnected it and now it works. It was hard to find. Due to it is located below some other componets and wires.

1999 Chev Blazer 6cyl 4.3L 4WD Rear Brake assy - I have replaced 2 Brake Pads and Rotor. After replacing and a test drive... Its making a scrapeing noise and now the rotor is extreamly hot and descolored....

I replaced the rotors and pads on my right hand drive Blazer and had the same problem ,dont worry in a couple of days normal running the pressure goes away and you dont get the heat problem.
Its just the new pads bedding in.
