I have a Sony 8gb mp3 (I Love it-it is an excellent device!)
My only problem is I set it to randomly shuffle the music.....and I dont know how to get it to not shuffle the music if that makes sense. I just selected intelligent shuffle, and thought I could unselect it-but I cant. Looked through all menus, settings etc but cant find a way to take it off. I know it is selected as when music plays, it shows a little pic telling me shuffle is on in bottom corner-so how do I take shuffle off??
I know there must be a really easy way to do this so can anyone help?? Very much appreciated if someone can!!! :D

While playing a song, press the Quick Options Menu button (small circle), you will see an option for "REPEAT", choose from:
No Repeat Play tracks in normal order and
One Play the current track repeatedly.
All Play all tracks repeatedly.
RandomAll Play all tracks in random order.
Dir Normal Repeat all tracks in the current
Dir Rep Repeat all tracks in all folders.
Dir Random Play folders in random order.
Your music has likely been put on shuffle. Look on the screen while songs are playing. You will see two crossed arrows or the word shuffle or random. Check playback options and see if random or shuffle option has been turned on. Sometimes the program you use to put songs on the MP3 player will activate this option if the program's playlist is on shuffle.
I had this problem as well. The only real solution I've found is to open up MY COMPUTER and go into the device. From there you can transfer all the music into one folder.
There is a RANDOM setting on the player but it will only randomize the songs within the folder you are listening to.
To put the player on RANDOM play a song, and press the button on the side of the player, select PLAY MODE and choose RANDOM.
Hope this was helpful.
In the main menu, go to "settings," then "audio settings," and then "play mode." Scroll to "normal" and push the center button. This should fix your problem. When you turned on Random play all, it changed this setting to shuffle, so when you return it to normal, you should be good.
Make sure the device isn't set on shuffle mode. This is probably your issue. Scroll through menu or find it in your owners manual and turn off the random select or shuffle mode. Hope this helps.
It is stuck on "Repeat One" - refer to p.23 of your user's manual -
You can set your player to play music tracks randomly (Shuffle All ) or repeatedly (Repeat One or
Repeat All ).
1. From the main menu, select Settings > Play mode.
2. Use the VERTICAL TOUCH STRIP to scroll up or down the options.
3. Press § to select an option.
4. Press § again to deselect an option.
While you are playing music you can see the following active play mode screen.
