Question about HP Pavilion m7480n (882780389410) PC Desktop
Not sure of your brand but if you are handy you should be able to take care of this yourself or bring it into any local shop.
If you do this yourself, unplug unit, open the case, disconnect wires, I label their locations with tape or a marker for re connection, take the unit in to match it up and get replacement. My problem is usually the fan since I don't use the old xp model much. They aren't that expensive, maybe $30 or $40.
With anything like this, if it sounds too much, take it in. Also could be something else.
