Try to defrost it by un-plugging it, and letting the frost melt. Also, you could try to up the temp settings inside the fridge or freezer and not have it set at the lowest setting. Try the recommended setting from the manufacturer.

Sub Zero has a timer to defrost the freezer [twice daily] which disengages the compressor and turns on heaters mounted on the coil and fin assembly behind the sheet metal cover at the back of the freezer. It also has a fan to distribute the cooled air in the freezer. If the fan fails, you will get frost buildup on the back wall.
If the timer doesn't work, you won't get the defrost cycle, and if it sticks in the defrost position, your freezer will warm up and thaw your goods. If the freezer does not defrost, you will also get a frost buildup on the back wall.
If you hold the switches at the top of the doorframe closed, the fan will come on for one switch if it is working, and the internal lights will go out for the other switch.
The timer is in a little box above the freezer, behind the removable cover. It is mounted to the right side wall, near the front. It has a little hole where you can use a flat blade screwdriver to turn the timer armature. If you turn it, you will hear it click, and hear the fan and compressor [left side compressor] turn off if it was running.

Frost on back of refrigerator, left side

Just frost or a puddle? If it's a puddle cause by melting frost with no where to go then you had my problem. A clogged drain. First defrost the drain, a hair dryer works well, blow or snake it out then install the factory drain heater fix. Plugs right in and works like a charm. I've had my sub zero 550 for more years than I can remember. I'd buy another one in a minute. Good luck!

Frost in rear of sub-zero refrigerator above vegetable bins

This is a very common problem. In most cases, it is due to a faulty refrigerator thermostat. I have seen balls of ice as large as a gallon of water on back walls of sub-z refrigerators due to this.

Sub zero refrig - ice forming inside

The solution posted previously is TOTALLY WRONG. A Sub Zero ref doesn't have a heating element in the fresh food section. Only in the Frozen food section. It has 2 totally separate systems for each section. 2 Compressors and 2 evaporators. They share a condenser. If you are having ice build up in the refrigerator then the problem you are having is a refrigerant leak in the fresh food evaporator. You need to have a certified tech come out and replace the evaporator in your refrigerator section of your Sub Zero. Not sure what you are asking about the thermostat.
