I got this printer from my boss who had upgraded months ago. I finally took it home and set it up. Changed all of the ink cartridges but I'm getting faded pages and the colors don't come through. The best I get is sepia and the black ink prints out ghostly and barely readable. Any suggestions how to clean it?

Try re-installing the printer driver(s) first. If no luck, then un-install the printer completely, reinstall and try again. You may also have an issue with an incompatible driver with Office 2007. After reinstalling the drivers, try to print a test page and see what happens.
Yes. Go to the Brother website and look for support and/or downloads. You should be able to download the software and drivers that you need. That will fix your printer. Also, once you download the drivers/software, burn it to a CD so that you will have it for next time.
Well, it might be theres something stuck in there. Pick it up and give it a few shakes. I work on printers, and not too long ago I found a wedding ring, paperclip, banana sticker and other things in printers. If that doesn't work, try going to staples and getting a laser cleaner kit. They're basically sheets coated to pick up any paper dust, or bits of paper that might be clogging the path
