I am not getting all of my e-mails. Can you fix that? Are you affiliated with yahoo?

Yes! My business associate's e-mails and even e-mails I send to myself are not going through. I also have reason to believe that some other very important business related e-mails are not going through. Yahoo and verizon (my high-speed provider) gave me the run-around - they honestly couldn't care less.

Fixya is a forum for where people seeking solutions to problems are helped by other people or experts. It is not affiliated with Yahoo. Can you describe your problem a little more. Are you logging on to Yahoo and email you are expecting is not in your inbox?

The first thing to check is to see if they are being delivered to your spam/junk mail folder. You may also have configured your account to immediately delete spam/junk, which would prevent you seeing if the emils were landing there. Check your security settings and if it is set to delete immediately, change it. Then, have someone send you a test email and see if it lands in your junk folder. If it does, you can loosen up the security settings you have so Yahoo doesn't screen so strictly.

Also check to make sure you haven't reached your Yahoo email capacity amount. If you have too many emails in your account, Yahoo will reject them, but they usually send the sender an email saying so.

That being said, I had used Yahoo sometime ago as it was affiliated with my SBC interent provider. I had similar issues where my email wouldn't come in or showed up a day or two later. I always advise friends not to use Yahoo as their email account for important emails. You might consider opening a gmail account at Google. Their system is much more reliable. Or you can setup your own domain and a email account attached to it at a registrar such as GoDaddy very reasonably. Domains are less than $10 a year and email is about $3 a month. It will be a lot more reliable too!

Yahoo Mail registers in Mail but cannot access the Email itself - also personal folders, delete boxes do not appear 2nd time it's happened

Uninstall yahoo mail from your computer. Just don't reinstall without uninstalling it first. Once it has been uninstalled, go to yahoo's web page to get a new download of Mail. Reinstall Yahoo Mail and that should fix it.

Good Day Pcogs!

I am sorry you are experiencing this problem. I must say that this is a Yahoo Mail Server problem.
The information you send to Yahoo Mail Server, like the password that you enter when you log in to Yahoo Mail, encountered a problem and failed to reach their database.

This problem will be fixed soon by the Yahoo itself. But, takes usually a few days or a week.

The fastest fix for this problem is to change your password.

To change your password, you must log in first to your Yahoo Mail account then go to https://login.yahoo.com/config/login_verify2?.done=https%3A%2F%2Fedit.yahoo.com%2Fconfig%2Fchange_pw%3F.scrumb%3D0%26.done%3D

When your problem is fix, please comeback later to give this answer a four thumbs up rate.

You are one of the many that has been affected by this downtime. Yahoo' s servers are currently down at the moment and they are already checking on thin. However, there is no turn around time for the fix just yet.

Cannot open Yahoo Mail, get error message "cascade

I would try the basics first, if the retry doesn't work and switch to classic doesn't work.

You can go to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ and download FireFox. This will work, that is what I'm using now.

Or I just found out the the Beta version of Internet Explorer 9 is working ok with yahoo. You can get that at http://www.beautyoftheweb.com/

Periodically, yahoo or microsoft will send out an update that will not work. it will be fixed, it is just a matter of time.

I cant open my mail

Hi,

You can switch to the older version of Yahoo Mail (Yahoo Mail Classic) .To switch to Yahoo! Mail Classic (Old Yahoo), on your Yahoo Mail page click the Options link in the upper right corner between Help and Mobile, then click the Switch to Yahoo! Mail Classic link. A dialog box might appear asking for feedback. If it does, click Switch to Yahoo! Mail Classic.
Thank you!

Yahoo Local Affliliation

When you login, go to your account options, found at the top right side of the page when you are on the Yahoo! Mail main screen. Then choose Mail Options, and proceed to the next page. Choose Account Information (on the left), and you may have to login to your account once more. If you need to, do so, and then click Edit next to Address/Contact Information. Change your country as necessary, save it, and click Finished.

Hope this is of assistance to you. Please don't forget to rate this solution and have a good evening.
