This has happened to me before. If you leave your Wii on for a while and not playing it, then that can affect it. Try turning it off for a whle and see what happens, if that doesn't work, there is a product called Wii Lens Cleaner (something like that) and it will definitely work. I got it and used it and everything went fine now. It only costs $10 and can be purchased at any game store or at Walmart. Hope that helps.

My discs wont load

You could find the manual on the internet by google. Im afraid that it's possible that it possibly broke the disc drive or the part of the drive that automatically loads and ejects the disc.

Put mario cart in and go through until it says error occured eject and turn off etc but it will not turn off

This error occurs if you have a problem with the disc. This normally happens if the wii console cannot read or recognize the game disc and freezing usually occurs after the error. You need to restart the wii console if this happens. Also check the disc for any visible damage and try cleaning if dirt is present. If this happens on all or majority of your games, there could be a problem with your wii's disc drive, but if it only occurs on a specific game then the problem is with the disc itself. Good luck!

My nintendo Wii says: "Error occured.

One, is the disc scratched?
Two, What Game?
Three, Try unplugging the power cord from the wall and Wii, and wait 10 minutes, and plug it back in. Should Work Like new.

Keep getting error has occurred, Eject disc turn of power refer to manual Tried powering down etc but still getting same error this error is not on all games some run fine ie Madagascar Always works...

This could be caused by several things usually the game disc is dirty or scratched. You can use a microfiber cloth(DO NOT USE A PAPER TOWEL!!!) with a little bit of alcohol to clean the disc. Even a fingerprint can cause this. I have dealt with it on my sons Wii probably a hundred times. If the game is scratched you can actually buy repair kits like Disc Dr or Scratch Dr.Right now I am using the Madcatz disc repair. Its avaiable at Gamestop. You might have to run it 10 times but they do work.

Bought a used Wii game and it is not working. Says 'error has occurred, eject disc, etc.'. However, all of our other Wii games are working. Is it the disc?

If all of your other games are working but 1, chances are, it's the disc. It's very difficult for anyone to really answer that without seeing the disc.

Just return the disc from wherever you got it and tell them it's not working. They should exchange it for you.

Do not read any disc

If Wii gives Disc Read Error, first step you need to check is to try another disc or clean the exisitng disc. This will confirm that problem is with either Wii or Disc.. If the console itself is giving disc read error then it needs to be repaired. You may check out DIY Wii Fix Guide, that will show step by step information to fix the problem yourself. It also gives information on fixing many Wii Related Problems, so its a kind of Wii Problems Reference Fix Guide.
