Question about Nintendo Wii Console

The wii will not let me put my e-mail address in

I have been trying for about 2 hours to connect my daughters wii to the intenet. I have managed to get it connetcted to the wireless router, but whenever i put my or my husbands email address in error code 206401 comes up, telling me to go to www.club-nintendo.com. I have done this a dozen times, my email is d.newton1@02.co.uk my husbands is agvsolutions@hotmail.co.uk. I have tried to e-mail nintendo directly, but have had no reply.

The Wii Internet affects your Computer Internet, so if you have problems with your computer, it will do the some thing to the Wii internet. If you had a stormy weather and your power went out once, then you are gonna have to restart your Wii internet again. I've had this problem before and what I remember was redoing it all over again. Make sure you get good signal to make it work better. If this doesn't work, i'll check my wii internet and see what I did. Hope that helps.

How do I set up netflix via wii?


I asume you setup your WiFi connection, so next you have to:
1)Select "Wii Channels" from the Wii Shop Channel main menu, then select "Netflix Instant Streaming for Wii.
2)Select "Free 0 Wii Points.
3)Select either the "Wii System Memory" or an "SD Card" as the download location( In case you have a SD card plugged in).
4)Select "OK," then "Yes" to download the channel.
5)Once Netflix Instant Streaming for Wii has finished downloading, it will appear on the Wii menu.
6)Once installed select Netflix from the Wii men?.
7)When asked if you are already a Netflix member, select "Yes" to reach the Member Sign In screen. If you are not already a member, select "No" and fill out the required fields on the screen to begin a free one month trial.
On the Member Sign In screen, click "E-mail."
8)Using the onscreen keyboard, enter the e-mail address that you have associated to your Netflix account, then click "Enter." (This is the same e-mail address you would use to sign into Netflix.com.)
9)Select the "Password" area, and use the Wii Remote to enter your Netflix account password. Select "Enter" when finished.
10)When your e-mail and password have been entered, select the "Continue" button.
11)Once you have successfully signed in, the Wii will automatically display your Instant Queue.

How do I hook up my wii to the intenet?


1. Power on your Wii console and press the A Button on the Wii Remote to reach the Wii main menu. Use the Wii Remote to select the "Wii" button.

2. Select "Wii Settings" to access the "Wii System Settings" menu.

3.Using the arrow on the right side of the screen, scroll to page two and select "Internet."

4. Select "Connection 1: None, Click on "Wireless Connection" and then "Search for an Access Point." and the Wii will display all the wireless networks it finds.

How can i get intenet on my wii


Well u need to get a wireless router from a large retailer like walmart,best buy, etc. then when u do that it should come with a instaltion disc after u install router go to wii go to internet connections click connection one wireless then the Wii will search for available routers then when it is done look for the name of your router then click it put in your password then test connection!

An error occurred while linking the e-mail address. error code 206653. i cannot link my e-mail address to the wii shop channel


There appears to be a temporary issue with the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Just wait it out. This isn't the consoles fault.

How do i change the WEP key or even view it?


To access the SpeedStream 2623 management interface:
1. Open your Web browser and enter the SpeedStream IP address http://192.168.254.254 in the browser Address box. The SpeedStream 2623 will automatically switch to port 88 for management access.
2. On the Login Screen, enter admin in the Password box; then click Login to display the Status screen of the management interface.

3. Under Simple Setup , go to Wireless Settings - take note of the SSID (this is the name of your wireless network). By default the SSID is "SpeedStream".

4. Still under Simple Setup , go to Wireless Encryption:


Option 1:
A. On the Simple Setup > Wireless Encryption screen, select Automatically.
B. Enter a password or password phrase.
C. Click Generate.
D. Take note of Key 1. This is the key that you will have to use on the Wii to connect wirelessly.
E. Save Settings and Continue.

Option 2:
1. On the Simple Setup | Wireless Encryption screen, select Manually.
2. Enter a password or password phrase.
3. In the bottom half of the screen, select #1.
4. Enter five hexadecimal keys; e.g., a number or letter in the range of 0-9 or A-F.
5. Click Enter to save settings and continue.

You're done with the router. Go to the wireless settings of your Wii and configure it to connect to your wireless network. For a step by step instruction go to this site:
