If someone calls in while you are on the phone, you should just be able to click "answer." To switch back, push the trackball in and click on "flash" in the menu that appears.

How do I use the call waiting feature?

I do not know what model of Uniden cordless you have, but 99% of the time call waiting is provided, if available with your service plan, by your phone service provider only, such as AT&T etc. Check it out.

How to set call waiting option in samsung s3653

http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/201011/20101126175845238/GT-S3653_UM_East_Asia_English_20101126.pdf

The above is a link to the manual to your cell if you don't have your original copy.

I'm not sure who you have as your network carrier is, but this feature is controlled by the people you go though. Your phone should already tell you that someone is calling you while your on the phone with someone else and give you the option to answer it, or deny it. So their is no need to worry about trying to set up anything special for it.

If you do have any questions about the call waiting feature its best that you call your service provider directly and ask them about this feature or any other feature on your phone.

Can I forward the calls on the cable phone to my cell phone?

Judy,

Without knowing who your cable phone provider is, I can't be sure. (My internet phone service provides call forwarding services, however each provider offers varying services for different fees.)

If I were you, I would contact my cable phone service provider to confirm your services. Your Motorola phone should be able to receive the forwarded calls just fine.

It's definitely worth checking into. I love the service!

Happy Communicating!

MY CALLER ID IS NOT WORKING IT IS ONLY SAYING INCOMING CALLS

Hi,

It seems the Caller Line Identification feature is not activated on your handset. Please check with the Customer Support Team of your Network Provider to validate if you have that feature available on your plan.

Alternatively, consider using your network provider website to add/change services yourself. Usually this feature is available for free with most network providers.

Hope this helps.

-regards,

Hi, when i activate the call waiting application I get "Call waiting command error" Any idea why?

Call waiting is a feature that your service provider might have to activate at your request.

If you would like to have call waiting, contact your cellular carrier and ask that this calling feature be activated for your phone.

Vtech model 2656 caller id is not working. How can I fix this?

Hello,

Found this on the VTECH support site regarding your model:

Tip 1 of 1
spacer.gif
Caller ID and Call Waiting ID are subscription services, available from most local telephone service providers. You must subscribe to these services in order for the features to work on your phone. Contact your local telephone service provider for more information.

In addition, your caller must be calling from an area that supports caller ID.

Both you and your caller’s telephone service provider must use compatible caller ID systems.

If you subscribe to DSL service for this telephone line, DSL filters must be plugged into EVERY phone jack that has a phone. The DSL signal can cause caller ID disruption, static, noise and other issues on your line. DSL filters block the high frequency DSL signals from being transmitted to the telephone. If you are not using the DSL filters provided by the telephone company, this will cause static/noise and possibly caller id issues on your phones.

In most cases, we recommend you connect the plug end of the DSL filter into the telephone jack, then connect a telephone cord between the filter and your phone.

Please contact your service provider to obtain DSL filters and installation information.

Caller ID and Call Waiting ID may not be available for every call. Common reasons are incompatibilities between your and your caller’s service, transmission errors and answering calls before the ID data is received.

In addition if you would like to contact them or get more info on your phone, then use this link:

Re. call waiting

Using Call Waiting
If you have Call Waiting service and a second call comes in when you are on the phone, a call waiting tone will
sound. Press [ /Flash] to accept the waiting call. There is a short pause, and then you will hear the new caller. To
return to the original caller, press [ /Flash].
Note: You must subscribe to Call Waiting service for this feature to operate. Not all features are available in all areas.
