Ck your lid switch the part that the lid comes in contact with you should hear a click when you open and close the lid

TIMER ON WASHER MAKES A TICKING SOUND DURING CYCLE


HI, this timer is faulty and, these are early warning signs of potential failuer of this device in the near future. i would prepare to replace the timer control soon. the actual mechanism is showing signs of breakdown.

Stops between rinse and spin cycles giving a ld code..


ld sure sounds like lid switch problems. Suprised to see this so soon, but I did see one come apart on a fairly new Whirlpool. Luckily, it should be easy to check. Unplug the machine first.

Machine doesn't spin/rinse/drain


not sure why, but the timer is lacking supply power during this event. look on back of timer for power connections to the motor. now monitor the 2 terminals for supply with a voltmeter to be sure. usually a schematic is taped to inside of machine so you can trace where that supply is on it.
