    Hi, same board w/ 64x2 5000 blk ed.550watt psu, 2 Gbs corsair ddr2-800

320 Gb sata Hdd. ide dvd-rw.

first did not post got into bios once, then got 4 beep error-no video, thought card was bad-swapped slots, posted fine, bios detected everything. but could not get optical drive to read install disk(win XP pro- 64 bit) to format new HDD. Is the board bad? or can it be fixed in bios? or flash update- ver 12sumthing. this sucks as the board is a buy off a friend at a much reduced price( he thinks it has IRQ disorders and might be fixable. I've heard great things about this board, and like the oc'ing features and the Nvidia 590 chipset, that and sli. oh yeah the video card is a BFG nvidia 8600 GTS OC. worked all winter shoveling ole peeps driveways to buy the parts, and still have no puter-:-/

Yep, problem is with the video card. If it's a desktop you can pull the video card out and install reseat it back into the motherboard to see if that fixes the problem.

Let me know.

Boot up beep codes, intel d845glly

here is a list of all beep codes : http://www.cas411.com/ShowArticle.aspx?ID=54
try to identify the beep pattern, it should tell you what's wrong. Most of the time, it's a bad memory stick.

No beep,No Display on my monitor, only CPU heatsink fan is moving

have you thought about changing the battery on the motherboard, also checking that the fan on the cpu is seated properly with enough heatsink paste as both these issues will stop the pc from booting

PC beeping, monitor will not display

we have different sound we can hear in cases of hardware problem, once the video card has loose contact it also beep continously, a beep sound also occurs when the ram(memory card) loose contact, one beep sound when it boot clearly it proceeds as go signal going to operating system. if you are using an upgraded video card remove temporarily and use the on-board from your motherboard. in case that it won't boot and still you hear a beep, beep ,sound then, switch-off the power take out the memory card clean the contact points(bronze color) with pencil eraser, make sure that no remaining residues of eraser remained before you install to the slot. i hope that this solves your problem
