Data protector express is disconnected. When i try to start Data Protector Express i get the message: the domain could not be found: Data Protector Express is unable to determine the host domain.
Help me to get a solution.

Check dpconfig.ini file and ther you will find some parameters like guid and ,Update this dpconfig.ini file

Check that the server is connecting thru the same Network card by checking the IP address.
Check that the network agent license is properly installed on the Storage domain host.
Check it is communicating thru Port 3817.

all you need to do if you have "vista" is go to control panel, and open backup and restore, and select your drive,(which ever one you want to backup), and name it, and it should start doing a backup< please let me know if this helped you, and if I can be of anymore help, god bless...............

Copy the data from back up drive all the Outlook express folder and copy to the following location

C:\Documents and Settings\your user name \Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{631B4C7F-5E06-419C-BF23-86B8F736E7C8}\Microsoft\Outlook Express
