Go to www.windows.com and do a search for windows defender it is free and it will clean those up. if you still have problems, re-ask me with some more info, as to what happened. windows defender is one of the best programs you can run on your xp. if you up grade to vista, they have a different one.

Steps To Remove Computer Viruses Using Command Prompt:

Step 1. Click on Start and type cmd. Now right click on the cmd icon and select run as administrator. Running the command as administrator is important as you need to access the system files which are not usually visible in guest accounts. Now command prompt window will open, now select your drive from which you want to remove a virus.

Step 4. So now type the following command to show all the hidden and system files on your USB drive. Type "dir F: attrib -s -h /s /d*.*" without quotations and press enter. Step 5. In this window you will notice unusual file.exe and extention if your computer has been infected with a virus like the dreaded autorun.inf virus. Rename it using this command line rename filename.extension new filename. Usage > C://rename autorun.inf (new filename)

Everyone doesn't want computers infected with a virus. The question is, where the virus entered into the computer. There are two possibilities, may be infected from the Internet or external device (flash drive, memory cards, external hard drives, etc). Flash drives are external devices that are often used. When we insert the flash drive to the infected computer, flash drive will be infected with the virus. In a flash drive that is infected, will form the autorun.inf file. Autorun.inf files will work automatically, every flash drive is inserted. Setting the default operating system is windows autorun when inserted an external device. Autorun windows, used by the autorun.inf, to enter into the computer. To protect your computer from viruses, there are a few things done:
1. Update anti-virus
2. Setting anti-virus in the guard position
3. Turn off windows autorun
4. Make anti virus auto scan flash drives

Turn off autorun Windows

Win Xp : Press START - run - regedit - HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer - NoDriveTypeAutoRun - Value Data - Type = ff - OK

Win Vista / 7 : Press START - Control Panel - Hardware and Sound - Autoplay - uncheck "Use Autoplay for all media devices" - SAVE.

Using software USB Safely Remove. Open software USB Safely Remove - click View - Options - Global Autorun - After device plugging - click Add process to launch list - click browse, open directory C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET NOD32 Antivirus\ecls.exe - Open - then double click the drive letter, to add parameter %DriveLetter% - then, on the tab File name and parameters, write /log-file=c:\report.txt /log-rewrite /aind - OK. Then. click Add process to launch list - write "C:\report.txt" - then unchecked "Wait for the process to finish" and "Launch the process for drives only" OK - FINISH.

How to remove autorun.inf virus from drives


1.Go to run and type cmd and click on the Enter button.
2. type cd
3. type attrib -r -h -s autorun.inf (to make the viruses visible)
4. type del autorun.inf (the actual deletion of the viruses)
5. now type d: and press enter for d: drive partition. Now repeat steps three and four. Similarly repeat step 5 for all your hard disk partition.
Restart your system and your trouble will be fixed.

How to remove autorun.inf in your flash drive or hard disk

Sometimes for virus or trojan horse you may difficulties opening your drives. Your autorun.inf is infected if you find any abnormal language when you right-click on a drive. This autorun.inf file is hidden and you will not see the file even though you select to show your all files from Folder Options.

1. Goto Start --> Run and type cmd then click OK.
2. If you want to remove the infected file from drive C: then type C: then press Enter.
3. Type "autorun.inf" and press Enter.
4. Type "del autorun.inf" then press Enter. The file is in the drive but not showing or you can't delete it now.
5. Now type "attrib autorun.inf -s -h -r" and press Enter.
6. Now delete the file by typing "del autorun.inf" and press Enter.
7. Restart the computer.

Tip

Remove autorun virus without antivirus


You can remove your autorun virus without using any antivirus software.

Click on start and then click on run and type cmd and then press enter
write the command according to your required hard drive.

D:/>attrib -s -h -r autorun.inf (and then press enter)
D:/> del autorun.inf (and then press enter)

Now take a reboot and after rebooting autorun virus will have been removed.

Note:
You can remove autorun.inf to using this process from the USB.

Autorun.exe file created automatically


These are viruses and may cannot cause any damage to ur phone..ur E6 have been infected when connected to an infected computer. u can remove this by a virus scan using a good kaspersky or McAfee. pls beware to use an updated anti-virus.
