Light bulb i need to change the light bulb on my westinghouse 3501 microwave. how do get to the bulb?

If you are comfortable with taking the cover off, Unplug the microwave, usually there are 2 philips screws on the top back, 2 on the right back and 2 on the left back edge cover. Sometimes, their might be a screw on the bottom but you will notice this right away if there are or not if the cover doesnt come off.

Then located the light bulb. You should be able to see the opening from inside the microwave where the light bulb is located.

Once you locate the bulb, then there are usually 2 types, type 1 screws in and the other type is a bayonet type, which you push down, and then twist. You should be able to figure this out.
Sometimes there is a plastic cover that is placed around the bulb to kinda help focus the light towards the inside of the microwave.
Once the bulb is out, then take it to your local hardware store and see if they can match it up. You might want to call first to see if they carry them before driving all over the place.
