Most Likely a bad DLP/DMD chip. If its under warranty they will fix you right up. Other wise you have to pull it apart get out the chip and then order another one for a few hundred bucks.

I have view sonic VA1703wb lcd & the problem is screen is blinking all capacitores r ok but still this problem so any one have a solution of this problem ?

The only thing you can try is turn down the brightness, this will address some monitor issues, if this fails the inverter transformers should be suspect.

Va1703 wb blinking problem

Hello,

That is a sure indication of a failure in the power supply board. The problem is that Viewsonic used two different power supply boards in the va1703wb model. If you want to do the repair yourself you should be able to. If you can open the unit and send a picture of the power supply board to us at tech@ccl-la.com we would be glad to show you what parts need to be replaced to rebuild the board and get it back up and running.

The view sonic VA1701WB display is totally white on the screen during up the computer and i check the CPU is booting up but at the same time monitor screen is totally white please reply the reason.

It can be due to:
Dead T-CON board on the LCD panel assembly due to blown fuse or just dead board.
Dead power supply on the logic board that supplys the power to the T-CON board.

How to find my hdd warranty??

If you want to know the warranty of your hdd then click the below link and fill the details and check your warranty

http://support.seagate.com/customer/warranty_validation.jsp?form=0

How To Find Model and Serial Numbers
If your drive is connected to your computer: Seagate has created a very simple tool that will tell you the serial number and the model number of any and all Seagate and Maxtor-brand drives connected in or to your computer. Use the DriveDetect.exe method to find both numbers.
You can also use SeaTools to display each number.
(See below if you have a Mac computer.)
If your drive is not connected to your computer: See the flash-based Serial Number locator tool to find your serial number and model number (and/or occasionally the serial number and the part number) on the drive label.

Please rate me if this solution works for you

Thanks......Have a great time

Monitor won't display resolution properly after Windows Update

I was having the same problem. Believe it or not I fixed it by unplugging the monitor, and when I restarted my PC I again had the 1440 × 900 option.
