A Video Conversion Software mini disc should have come with the player for you to download and convert your video files.

SOURCE: how do i put videos on my nextar MA797-20 MP3

Hi,

Video files need to be converted into the correct format in order to work on the player. This Nextar uses the AVI format for video and you will need to ensure that you have converted your files into this format.

For a good breakdown on how to do this and a link to a free AVI convertor please view this FixYa Tip. Video issues are discussed at bottom of that page.

Thanks for using FixYa.

SOURCE: slick touch screen mp3 player video error

Are you sure they support those formats? Because alot of the cheaper mp3 devices usually support .mtv files which is a cheap chinese format.

I do not have a polaroid video converter cd

Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine the type of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI and WMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is an incompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to a format that your MP3 player uses. After video conversion then copy the video files to your MP3 player using the USB cable from your computer. I dont know how to load videos and watch them on my eclipse mp3. every time i try to watch something...it says format error even though the video on my mp3 is in AVI format!

This is simply because the Eclipse MP3 player does not read .AVI formatted videos. The videos must be in .AMV format. A good way to convert your .AVI videos into .AMV is to use FreeAMVConverter located at the following link. http://www.amvvideoconverter.net/. You can use this to convert your videos to .AMV format and then they should work.
Hope this helped, NathanTaylor

Youtube videos are usually FLV flies which are not compatible with WMV. You must convert the video using video conversion software. Renaming the file does not convert the format the video file format.

Can't upload video to my player

And you'll never be able to do that , because your device is called mp3 player . Mp3 formatted files are audio file types and that what your device is capable to run . Video files for a mini device like yours or cell phone devices are formatted in Mp4 formats , so if you want to enjoy watching videos on a small screen , you need to buy another device called Mp4 player . But don't forget to convert all videos to Mp4 format before you upload them to such a device .
good luck .
