Ge refers are complicated some of the new ones have a control board on the backside of the refer,,, i owuld lean towards an evap fan motor if thats running it possibly could be the compressor, or that board...... if u do get ge service most of the techs have a computer they plug into the unit and it basically tells them whats wrong,, and sometin like that possibly a ge profile or similiar i would have an authorized ge service tech work on it if u were to get it serviced they would proabably be allot more knowledable and would have parts stocked,,, check your warranty on that compressor also

Focus pro deadband temperature settings. Can I set in auto different temperature 10pm- 6am heating 72 cooling 75 6am-10pm heating 71 cooling 74

The deadband setpoint is the limit of how close your heating temp can be to your cooling temp. I believe you are trying to program your tstat to run at certain times. This would be possible if your tstat is programmable. Not sure if yours is. But a 3 degree deadband is a good setting. Hope I answered your question!!

Why does bottom of freezer work but refrigerator does not

Hi friend, thank you for your post!

I see your freezer in your Frigidaire refrigerator is working but the fresh food side is not cooling. You could be seeing a possible air leak in your refrigerator section of appliance. To check the door seal on your appliance you can use a dollar bill. Place the bill between the body of the freezer and close the door. Pull the dollar out, if it sticks the seal is good, but if the bill comes out easily the gasket needs to be changed.

If your gasket is fine I would recommend contacting a professional to come out to diagnose and properly repair the appliance. Cause you could be seeing an issue within your fan or control panel. I hope this helps. -Matt

MFI2269VEM3 does not detect temperature

Try resetting the control board by unplugging the refrigerator for a few minutes. Did you pull the thermistor or change it's location in the freezer section? Are those your photos on the link you provided HERE? So let me get this straight you began by cleaning the freezer section defrost condensate drain and ended up with the refrigerator freezer now unable to cool at all? Here is a link to a MFI2266AE Service Manual. I want you to go to page 37 and do the service diagnostic so we have a better idea of what has happened here I am here to answer your questions, Thanks Sea Breeze

Unit will not stay cool. Is it a thermostat, compressor?

Small refrigeration units like this one like to fail to cool by developing a small leak and slowly
leaking refrigerant.
THERMOSTAT FAILURE CHECK:
A technician will check the thermostat using using a DMM (digital multimeter). But you can suspect the thermostat if you set the thermostat high and the compressor motor does not run,
then set thermostat low, and the compressor motor also doesn't run - in other words, the thermostat is failing to start the refrigerator's refrigeration system no matter what its setting - an obvious failure of the thermostat.
COMPRESSOR FAILURE CHECK:
If the compressor is dying, you would hear the compressor running almost constantly, but not
sounding quite right (uneven noise, clunking, tapping).
REFRIGERANT LEAK CHECK:
If you unit is low on refrigerant (due to a leak), the compressor motor will be running
almost constantly, but it will sound Ok.

About every two or three weeks the temperature rises to about 15 F in the freezer. Temperature also rises in the main part.

The AC will not cool below 71 degrees. Can it be adjusted to cool down to 65. It appears that it was set at the factory to not cool below 71. I do not care for that at all.

you have a air conditioner not a refrigerator. The reason that its locked to not go below is because any lower then that and the evaporator will freeze up and then liquid refrigerant will go to the compressor.

Cooler wont cool below 48 degrees.

Keep a thermometer handy. (adjust temperature control knob accordingly)
Periodically monitor temperatures inside your cooler. (adjust as necessary)
Keep the refrigerator door closed as much as possible to avoid temperature fluctuations

The temperature of the refrigerator compartment is
controlled by adjusting/setting the thermostat control
knob, located on the ceiling of the refrigerator
cabinet.
To start the refrigerator, and achieve maximum
cooling quickly;
• Turn the temperature control knob (using a coin
or screwdriver) clockwise to the furthest
(maximum) setting on the darker blue section of
the graduated control dial.
• Allow the refrigerator to run at this setting for 3~4
hours.
• When maximum cooling is achieved, turn back
the temperature control knob setting to the 2:00
o'clock position on the graduated blue control
dial.
• Correct cooling temperature is a key factor to
consider in storing and dispensing draught beer.
• Optimum temperature for serving draught beer is
between 34ºF ~ 38ºF.(1ºC ~ 3ºC)
• To maintain temperatures ranging between
34ºF ~ 38ºF.(1ºC ~ 3ºC) We recommend the
thermostat knob be positioned at the "2:00
o'clock" setting on the graduated blue control dial.
• To turn off the refrigerator, (no cooling) rotate the
control knob to the "0" position.
