Either get the cd for windows
put it in system and it will ask u to reinstall it or update current version
select update current version and it will do it for u...

if it still does not work

REinstall windows completely and then ur problem eill be resolved 100% but in this case u will lose all ur previous data.

NOTE: in both the cases u will have to get the cd for windows XP
when u start system , it will ask you to goto bios setup by pressing F2 or DEL or TAB key
when u press it , u reach bios settup
u will find option to boot system
Select " boot system from CD"
when u do that then u have to insert windows cd and start system . now ur system will boot from cd directly and u can proceed further to either reinstall windows completely or update current version.
IF U REINSTALL XP COMPLETELY
U WILL LOSE ALL UR DATA PREVIOUSLY STORED and u will also need mother board chipset driver cd to install it once windows has been installed.
IF U ONLY UPDATE CURRENT VERSION OR UPDATE ITS SETTINGS then everything willl remain same ( ur data , all drivers etc)

Turn on the Pc & as it starts press the F5 key every 2 seconds. A window will open with a list of start options. Select VGA mode. You'll have to use your keyboard's up & down arrows here. Press enter to load VGA mode. Once in windows re-in able
graphics driver. Re-start windows. If that fails. Repeat the above to get back into windows. Re-install video drivers. Than restart the system.
Post back if your still having trouble.

CANNOT LOAD WINDOWS DONT HAVE INTERNET DRIVER

For the BIOS try F1 usually for IBM.
For the safe mode the key is F8 tap it a couple of tyme quickly after the BIOS screen.

If i understood correctly you changed the display resolution and now you can't see on your screen. If this is right when you will tap the F8 button, in the menu you will see an option saying: VGA mode witch will start windows in 640x480.
You will be able to see something then.

Randomly lost display on my pc.. and its not a faulty card.

Try to set your PCI-E card as a first one in BIOS. There also should be an option to turn off onboard video.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver

The file is apart of the Intel graphics driver system. If you uninstall and reinstall the Intel MGA driver it may clear up this message.
You can also try to update the driver using the following method:
Click -START - Control Panel - INTEL GMA Driver
On the driver control screen click on - Information -
Select the - Support - tab
Click on the Graphics Driver downloads Link
Select - Graphics - and follow the prompts
You may be asked to download the update utility, do so
Select the Check System button to get latest driver
This method will keep your computer up to date.

Reboot the computer, before windows loads press F8 and go into safe mode and reset the graphics there to something you know your monitor can handle. It should also disable the second screen, so you'll be switched to the first automatically. Or, if you want to do things the down and dirty way, when windows loads you can go behind the computer and yank out the monitor cable, and switch it to the other connector.
