I need pci sound card driver but i don't know the module

Good Day,
With your problem, you may want to download a software called ASTRA32, with this link, After downloading, please install it,(just follow on screen instructions) then RUN it. It may take a while to run it the first time (depending on your system configuration). After a while, you will se a windows listing all your system information, driver names, etc.
Just click on the button that says "DRIVERS" with an exclamation point. Here it will show you all hardware which does not have the correct drivers installed, which in your case no driver has been installed yet. Just browse down on the right window pane to see the complete hardware name of your sound card. It will be listed there as "Problem Device" and just look for the device name. After you have known the device name, you can either go to the device manufacturers website or search for the drivers using any search engine of you choice, such as Google.
Hope this helps you. and thank you for using Fixya.

I installed windows 7 64bit OS and I have no internet connection. Device Manager shows no driver is installed and network ethernet driver. How do I fix?

You need to download and install the Windows 7 drivers for your device. They don't come with Windows. Only the device manufacturer will have them. If you have a laptop you will need to identify the devices and search other systems that use those same devices and Windows 7 to find them.

My laptop audio device has not working..

you may have lost you audio driver and you need to re-download the driver. Find out the name of the driver by going onto device manager. Now while in device manager see if there is a link for auto update of driver already there, if there is one try that first. If not then you have to go to your manufacture's web site, click onto the driver and downloads area, provide the name, model, and serial number of your unit, this should bring up the proper driver download for you. I hope this will help, good luck.

I don't have the driver for unknown device is not i like to install the latest driver for the device.what can i do ?

You'll need to follow the following steps:
  1. Identify the device. Do this by going to Start > Right Click on "My Computer" > Select Devices, or on an older version of Windows, select the Hardware tab and then "Device Manager"
  2. Identify the device with a question mark icon
  3. Search for the manufacturers website, download and install the appropriate driver.
  4. If the manufacturer no longer exists, search the devices name plus the words "driver download"
  5. If you have no luck, install the driver for a similar device.

My driver disk was lost so how can i make my new cd?

Cause you did not specified the device ..or the name ..I can not link you to the download ..but I can tell you how to get a new driver ..
Just type on the Google engine the name of the manufacturer and the word support near it ..and it will guide you to the support site ...In there select the support ..and after that downloads..and select the device or by case computer by name ..and the operation system and it usually gets you to a download for what you need..
If you think you can not manage .just leave a comment with the data I need about the driver you seek ..and I will link you directly where to download it ..
Have a nice day ..!
( i need the name and make and exact nature of the device ..for camera .Xx350 ..driver for windows 7 )

My samsung jet s8003 does not property connect with pc with pc studio

Most likely, the problem is with the driver software, not the actual program. In order to fix this, what you'll need to do is uninstall the software (PC Studio) and reinstall the software before connecting the phone to the computer. Hopefully this will fix it.
That being said, if that doesn't fix it, to manually uninstall the driver manually, you need to access the Device Manager and remove the driver. To access the Device Manager in Windows XP, click the Start button, then Control Panel. Then click on Performance and Maintenance link. After that, click the System icon. (Note: The Performance and Maintenance step is not be applicable if Control Panel is in Classic View mode.)
In System Properties, click the Hardware tab, and then the Device Manager button to launch the Device Manager. Any improperly installed software will have a yellow question mark bubble icon next to the device name. If you see your phone's name or model number, double-click the device's name to get to the Properties for that device. Click the Driver tab, and then the Uninstall button. If the uninstall verification screen asks, delete the driver as well.
Then reinstall the software and once that's done you should be able to connect your phone without problems.

Dear Sir or Madam When I want to play a music on my computer , I get this error: "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound...

Yes there is something wrong! The sound card driver is corrupted!

YOu need to check on device manager again. Look for your drivers there.

If you do not see the EXACT NAME of your sound card, then the driver that is installed is a DEFAULT driver made by the os.

Ex: This is a sound card driver name listed in Device manager:

This is an example of a default sound card driver that will not work well on certain sounds or will not work at all:

Even thought you many not see a yellow question mark (which you should be checking for too just in case)on any of the listings for your hardware, chances are you are still using a default sound card driver due to a corruption to its original sound card driver.

So recheck your device manager and find out the exact name of your original sound card. If there is no match to your exact name of your sound card, then you need to REINSTALL your sound card driver again and you will immediatly see your sound card working again :)

If this does not work, you may have to change your sound card.

Hope this helps :)

Re installed Windows XP Pro from virgin disc, now have no sound system.Motherboard has VGA sound lan onboard but think that drivers were lost on xp installation.Computer is SVA (Thailand) In device manager...

Windows has drivers BUT, in many cases they are not the ones designed for your Motherboard. If you have the CD for the Motherboard you can install the drivers from that. Otherwise, you'll need to get the NAME of EACH of the devices (ie. NVidia for Graphics, Hitachi for Disk, Ricoh for Ethernet, etc.) to be able to determine what drivers you need. In many cases, the Motherboard Drivers are to be Installed BEFORE you install Windows. May be possible to install after windows install tho. Need to get a device listing first.
GOTO Device Manager in Control Panel and broswe through the listings for each of your devices to get the maker names.
