Some of the razr's have a battery saver mode which will not allow the keyboard to light up, so check your power settings. Otherwise the sensor on the upper corner of the keyboard may have become defective or received a little moisture damage. It will either have to be cleaned or the keyboard flex will have to be replaced. The flex cables can be purchased on ebay. You will need to see what version razr you have. It can be found on the sticker under the battery. Also, you should be able to find disassembly guides on youtube or just do a general search on your favorite search engine.

Dell Studio 1737 with Back lit keyboard but Cap Lock Doesn't Light, replaced Keyboard less than 3 months ago, light worked then and went out just recently.

I'd try a different keyboard and see if the caps light works on that - so you can confirm whether it's the keyboard, or computer.

Light on gateway keyboard kb-0817 where is it or

There are no lights are the less expensive keyboards that are shipped with many Gateway computers. They have a more expensive keyboard that does have lights. Suggest you get that one or some other keyboard with lights already included.

Cannot find the upper case indicator (light) on the keyboard

More than likely you have purchased a keyboard without the lights. There is such a thing. I would try pressing the Num Lock, Caps Lock, and Scroll lock keys. If the keyboard has lights, you should easily be able to see three lights lit up. If not it is pretty safe to assume that the keyboard has no lights. Next time if you were to list the name and model of keyboard it would be easier to diagnose problems. More info is almost always more helpful. Hope this helps.
