Frigidaire dishwasher stops in mid cycle

two things to look at : water level sensor ? seems I once had a machine that the water inlet valve never totally shut off and it overfilled basin this shut machine off on a spill sensor fault but took several minutes to do this , Also the door closed switch , seems they do get finicky as time goes on and even thought door stays closed the movement of machine opens the door switch up (not the door) this also takes several minutes to occur

My Hoover First Edition keeps filling with water to the point of it pouring out of the door. It seems to be draining fine, but just keeps letting in short bursts of water, which don't seem to stop. ...

This seems quite likely to be a fault of the WATER LEVEL SENSOR. So since the pressure activated switch is not working even when the set water level is reached the water overflows.
Drain the water out of the washer and remove the level sensor which is located on the rim of the drum which has a tube feeding water to a pressure activated switch- the diaphragm could have punctured or failed on the switch.
You can bypass the switch by shorting to see if the machine starts and works , if so change the switch.

Water pouring from the front of machine from both door and soap drawer

It has either overfilled with water, or is going into spin full of water.
Check to see if you can see water right up the glass door front, if you can, then it has overfilled.
If no sign of water, then it is probably the pump that is not working, possibly due to blocked filter.
If you require more assistance , please e-mail
.Thanks.

We have just installed GE Model GLDL560NSS. It fills with water and it emptys the water but it doesn't actually wash or rinse. The water just sits at the bottom of the dishwasher tub

I had the same problem running the dishwasher the second time. The first time worked perfectly. I thought the problem was from the sensor not reading enough water to actually start the wash cycle. It sure uses less than any dishwasher I've had before. When I tried to restart it the machine drained the water that was in it. I later found out it does this automatically when you push the restart button. I poured water from a bucket into the dishwasher and tried this a few times and found that on the fourth try it ran fine and haven't had a problem since. I didn't know how much to put in and did overfill it once. Maybe the sensor float or whatever was stuck and overfilling it helped.???

Fisher and paykel water leak

Code F1 indicates that Flood switch has been
activated which explain why you feel that it is overfilling.

Water leaking
Drain hose disconnected
from waste pipe.
Reconnect the drain hose to the waste pipe.
Supply inlet hose not
properly connected.
Ensure the inlet hose is connected securely.
Other leaks. Turn water and power supplies to the
Dishwaher off.

Water flooding out

Hi KellyW,

The dishwasher drain hose may be clogged.  When the dishwashr starts up can you hear the water running into the Sink faucet drain. If not inspect the hose that attaches to the Sink Drain for restrictions.  Also in the bottom of the dishwasher you should have a filter.  If this filter is clogged you cannot expel water.  Clean the filter.
