Check to see if you have frost build up on the back of the freezer wall toward the lower section. If so you are have an auto defrost problem. Deice the coils and Check heater to see if broken. Most of the time the adaptive defrost control is the problem which is located in the fresh food section at the top area under all the nice looking plastic covering the cold control and freezer controls. The part is a 61005988 and cost approx. 80.00. I have to 2 of these today myself. Good luck. If you defrost all the ice out of the coils this will buy you few days of cooling before having to do it again. Hope this helps.

New whirlpool refrig. freezer ok at 0 but refrig

The freezer get the first crack at cooling and combination units have a fan and adjustable vents to steal some of the cooling capacity for the refrigerator. The vent are normally located in the back of the refrigerator compartment and with these, you can balance the cooling capacity between freezer and fridge. I recommend you swap your thermometer back and forth until you get the balance you want; typically the freezer should be at 5 degrees F or below and the fridge at 35-40 degrees F. Adjusting the control for temperature and having the vents set to supply the cold air you want in each compartment should give you the range you want in each.

Fridge not cold

Sounds like your fridge is running out of gas,, Call a Aircondition or Refrigation technician and let him re gas it for you...

It cant be frost cause it sould have affected your freezer not your refrigation unit.. Normall when gas is running low the first thing that is affedt is the refrifgation section ,, the freezer shows signs a few days / weeks later and eventualluy stops cooling all together... RE GAS IT FAST BEFORE IT BURNS YOUR COMPRESSOR OUT..

Temperature 94 in refrig. normal in freezer

Check to see if refrigerator door is lower than freezer door. If so remove toe panel, (bottom front). Under refrigerator door hinge at bottom right is adjuster for door. Adjust upward so door is even. On some models when door is too low it causes light to stay on some times, raising ref. temps.
