This would take quite a lot of space with the instructions.
Go to your favorite Auto parts store and ask for the chilton 1989 to 1992 Ford Probe Repair manual. Very good if you have some automotive repair experience. Otherwise take it to your favorithe car fixit place.

The timing belt is located under the timing belt cover on the left side of the engine. The Chilton Ford Probe Repair Manual for 1989-1992 lists 15 steps to replace the timing belt. Available at Auto Zone for about $19.00.

Just bought 1991 Ford Probe lx v6 won't start

If you have spark and fuel (either via the injectors or spraying fluid into the intake), and still no evidence of firing, it suggests your valvetrain may not be working. If the valves can't open, the fuel cant get into the cylinder.

Do (or have done) a compression test. You may have a broken timing belt/chain.

Mark the direction of rotation on the timing belt in case you need to re-install the original belt
