Hello sir; Are you using remanufacture cartridge ? if you do so, take this cartridge back to the store for credit to buy a brand name cartridge.

Showing no print cartridge

Please check your cartridge. Just shake well and put once again and try to print the page you want. If the cartridge is full and if that printer repeatedly shows that error means please change the cartridge. Because some cartridge comes like this sometimes that powder will freeze.

I have never used the Photo ink Cartridge #58. It intal pic shows putting it where the black one goes-does this mean I would use the color and the photo one at the same time instead of the black one?

Yes correct. The photo cartridge has to be inserted, where you install black cartridge. The photo cartridge gives finishing touch to the photos which you print. The actual photo comes from the color cartridge only, but for lightness and darkness, the color(ink) from photo cartridge gets used.In photo cartridge there are three color ink, that are light pink, light blue and grayish black. In color cartridge there are three color ink, that are pink(magenta), yellow and cyan( blue).------------- This are the details.Thank you for using fixya.

I HAVE A DELL V305 PRINTER, WHEN I REPLACED INK CARTRIDGE, DISPLAY STILL SHOWS EMPTY. HOW CAN I RESET TO SHOW FULL? I TRIED FACTORY DEFAULT AND IT DIDN'T HELP. THANKS

You need to re-seat the ink cartridge. The print will automatically reset the cartridge setting to full if it see the new cartridge. If the cartridge is set in properly and still does not show as full. I would start to wonder if the tape cover had not been removed before being placed in the printer or it there is a problem with the new cartridge being faulty.

Try also to turn off the printer, unplug it for a few minutes and start it up again. This will sometimes reset the printer.

Let me know how things work for you. If this solution helps, please remember to leave postive feedback. If you need more assistance, please let me know.

Printer is confusing.sometimes it says, "problem comunicating with the printer" sometimes it prints in notepad, sometimes don't. newly installed cartridges but still has question mark on the black some

There were times that the printer would give you that message. In order for the computer to properly recognize the printer, here's what you are going to do:

1. Remove the cartridge from the printer.
2. Turn the printer off and unplug it from the wall outlet.
3. Put the cartridge back while the printer is off.
4. Give for about 2 minutes.
5. Turn the printer back on.

Try these steps.

Ink cartridges cannot be recognized in canon printer

Hello!
Remove the cartridges and gently wipe the cartridge contacts with a dry cloth, then put them back in. Then, hold the "resume" button for 10 seconds for each cartridge, that should reset them.
If that doesn't work, one of your cartridges (sadly) needs to be replaced.

Printer will print pictures, but won't print documents.

Sometimes this happens because the ink dries in the print head. If multiple cleaning doesn't improve it you can try cleaning the print head itself with alcohol or an electronic spay can type cleaner. This should fix the problem for you. Also resetting the cartridges in the slots sometimes improves the ink flow.

Epson stylus photo 1290 'bk ink cartridge not installed properly'

Ameter:
Remove the black ink cartridge.
Check the place where the new cartridge should go. Check for a round small piece like a bushing or a little piece of pipe, stuck at the ink entrance of the printing head. This is a piece from the old cartridge, that sometimes gets loose and remains in place, and when the new one is placed, it doesnot go down to the right place to make contact with the electric connectors in the printing head.
If nothing solves...reinstall the printer drivers.
Good luck and Merry Christmas

Black cartridge not activating properly

There's a blue protective strip on the bottom of the cartridge when you buy it, and it needs to be removed before you put the cartridge in the printer.
