There are certain games that may be classified as some sort of special edition games. These games which you have listed above can be said to fall into this category. Majority of these games are made specially and specifically for some systems or console. The only sure way to be sure if your disc is damaged or not is to try playing it on another console and see if it gives the same error. If it does give the same error, you can be sure that the disc is really spoiled and the only thing to do is to try to fix it or get a new one. On the other hand, if it doesn't show this error, you could check to make sure that is possesses the same region code as the region code of the disc that your console is designed to work with. This is a sure way to know if your disc is bad or isn't just compatible. Although, it is most likely that the problem is coming from the disc and not your console as other discs work Let me know how far you went with this problem.
This is not nessesarily a solve issue, however it worked with mine, I had the same issues when playing games. I would be in the middle of gameplay, and the the error screen would pop up and say that the disc coudnt be read, All I did to fix the issue was open the unit, blow the dust off the disc drive motor and attatched ****, then I used some 3 in one oil on all the motors inside the system. So far it hasnt messed up (FINGERS CROSSED) I hope this helps.....I noticed with my gamecube that it would quit spinning the game, and after I made it past the gameplay loaded in memory it would error out because it needed to spin the disc and load more programing into memory.....if your disc dont spin you are guarenteed a disc read error
Call nintendo, if there is something in the USB port in the back of the system then take it out, it could cause freezing with out disc. If all of your disc are not playing ( Unable to read disc please refer to the wii operation manual ) its a problem with the disc drive in the system, set up a repair.
I had the same problem but i sent it in. They said it was the eye reader error. Or the thing that reads the disc. Try buying a brand new game and try playing it. Alot of times when i have disc read errors i put the disc in where the xbox 360 part at the top goes in facing the xbox. Try that to see if it helps.
sounds like your dvd drive is having issues. try to do a online update. that may fix the non reading disc issue. as for it damaging that cd and only that cd i would just buy a new dvd drive. most of the time when a cd comes out damaged its due to a belt spindle. which is the part that spins your disc, but your saying its only doing it to 1 game. try a update if that dont work purchase a new dvd drive. make sure u get the correct one
