Re: I want the imformation from the phone
If the screen is not broken , if it went in water BUT NOT BROKEN then u can take to any mobile repair shops They have an acid solution with then with which they can clean ur phone and also clear out any jammed circuits. IT will work 100% but if it still does not help Then u can connect it with USB cable to ur PC . goto any Mobile shop and get a USB cable that suits ur phone connect one end of it to ur mobile and other end to USB port on PC ... Your phone will be visible to you in the my computer window as a normal drive among other icons for c: d: etc.. just double click on it to open it and copy all the data u want. BUT U WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DOWNLOAD THE DATA FOR LAST CALLS YOU MADE OR THE NUMBERS TO WHICH U MADE THOSE CALLS AND TEXT MESSAGES U SENT. This can only be provided to you by ur phone service provided. BUT U CAN SURELY DOWNLOAD CONTACTS, DATA , SONGS , VIDEOS, PHOTOS etc from that phoen

You should probably wait for a few days to ensure it's completely dry on the inside. I have heard other folks suggest that putting the phone in a bowl of white rice for a few days is a great way to dry it out. The rice will absorb the moisture.
Did the case cover the entire phone or just the sides and back like most?
That is a 50/50 hit or miss thing. Some systems can function after they are dried. you can even place it in a warm spot like by a heater to help dry it better but there is no guarantee it will work or continue to work after a few days, weeks, or even months.
i have seen phones last til the end of their usage after drying and i have personally had units last only 2 months after that much water but for a shorter time was put on them.
in short, drying it out and letting it go for a day or 2 will nto hurt it but there is no guarentee that it will work. also you will not get a replacement via warranty or accidental from almost all manufactures and carriers. there are water detectors in the units that change color like to pink when contacted with water.
at&t has 2 puk codes per sim card but if that is not working u will just need to buy a new sim card and a at*t store can transfer your sim imformation from your old sim to the new one and new sim cards are $25+ tax
remove the battery and put the phone, and the battery into a container of uncooked dry rice, white or brown. leave it for about three days. With a little luck the rice will **** all of the moisture out and you will be up and running again.
Just put it in a bag of rice for couple of weeks. The rice pulls all the water or wetness out of the phone. How do I know, Well I found a brand New Lg Dare phone in a puddle, put it in rice for 2 1/2 months. I took it out of the bag, put it together, turn it on. To my amazement it worked. Ran to store, bought a charger, and it has worked every day since.
The best thing you could have done is taken the battery out and let the phone dry for few days or take a hair dryer and dry the phone. But sounds like that is to late now, sow at this point nothing can be done with water damaged phone.
