Question about Dell OptiPlex GX270 PC Desktop
I can not think of any reason you should be trying to reset your BIOS. But if you have a good reason to do so, when you do the jumper you have to hit the power button. Then put the jumper back to original position and hit the power button again to turn the computer on.
You have to go into your BIOS to change your boot device order to your DVD/CD-ROM for it to boot off of your recovery disk though.
