I have a 110,000btu reddy heater. it was running poorly so i changed the air filters and the fuel filter. now it will not fire up. it is not getting any fuel to the nozle. I took the nozle out thinking it was clogged but it wasn't. Heater will run for a few seconds but since it doesn't flame it shuts off. Any ideas?

My heater is a reddy heater 165,000btu. when i plug it up it will ignite, it will get a flame for about ten seconds and it shutdown. i recently replaced the ignitor because it broke and replace the fuel...

I would definitely stop burning off road diesel as it is dirty.Remove the top section of the heater and clean the fire eye with windex and a terry cloth rag, and run K1 kerosene it burns so much cleaner. Also make sure that fuel is not an issuecheck fuel filter, fuel lines and don't forget the screen in behind the nozzle.

Reddy Heater not firing

Take air preassure from an air hose to turn the fan blades to loosen everything up. Time for afull service, like change the vanes in the pump, 3- filters fuel--2 air.

I have an older reddy heater pro 100 kerosene space heater,

You Must set the pump pressure quickly! If allowed to run with the nose cone a "bright" cherry red the welds will deterioate to the point that the end will separate from the combustion chamber. Individual sheet metal parts of the chamber are not available.

Not getting fuel after air and fuel filter maintenance.

If the maintenance procedure included anything that required you to dis-assemble the air pump then you must simply re-set the pump pressure in order for fuel to be pumped into the combustion chamber. . It's an easy procedure. Instructions for setting the pump pressure

Reddy heater runs then stops

it's the ignitor itself, if everythingelse is working or new then your just not getting enough spark. Also check your air lines as they do tend to get brittle and if your not getting enough air it won't light either.

WONT FIRE

have you cleaned the air inlets? I have a older (1970's) reddy heater, occasionally it starts getting smokey or not firing at all. I open up where the air filter is and clean out the chamber with carb cleaner; gets the old girl firing up nice again.
