Question about Computers & Internet
Ok well done I hope I am still going when I am 80...(56 now)
Well yes you MUST format WITH XP, the entire drive to rid Vista Uggg... Then simply install XP. Most of you "Vista" stuff won't work on XP, sorta can't go "Backwards" so to speak. Ensure you have ALL the drivers you need for your laptop FIRST. and put them on say a Flash Drive. Now when you get asked for drivers you can point them to the Flash Drive.
As for Memory generally 4GB is max. There is generally no problem simply open up the panel underneath and slot in the extra RAM. Or remove totally and install all new sticks.
You could also install BOTH and simply choose your OS from a Boot Menu... but thats another story.
