Where can I get a replacement micro switch.
This is the switch that turns on the shredder when you put the paper in.

-   The small metal gear on the motor of my AS1200X has lost its teeth. Dentures are out of the question.....joke. Are parts available anywhere?

I called them and they were no help at all. They said, in short, "We don't have parts, we can't help you, buy a new Shredder! There warranty is 30 days with receipt.
I would buy yours for parts but it wouldn't be worth the shipping charges!
If you wanted to remove the micro switch and would send to me I'd be interested in purchasing it. My machine isn't that old, so I really don't want to purchase a new shredder. I got it from CostCo last year.

I also have a broken metal spur gear at the end of the metal shredder on an AS1200x. If someone still has 1 good one they would like to dispose of please let me know. Or, if someone wants one good one or other parts from this shredder let me know. s_h_chapman@msn.com.
