no PC told at all 1 of 10,000 models of HP not the same.
w8
well in w8 the control panel has windows sound tests
no cables all told for PC to monitor
vga, dvi or
HMDI? what? , sound cable.>
E2250SWH
this monitor old has 3.5 mm phones round speaker jack at right rear of monitor the monitor as amplified speakers (some sub models)
that cable must be connected to PC green line out jack
or there will be no sounds there.
next is he PC ,must that sound card/chip drivers loaded for w8
no PC told so can not ever answer 10,000 models of HP.
device manager must show the sound chip is OKAY
next is , the sound mixer, in control panel click sound
click play back tab.
now pick you sound chip not HDMI sound
on the monitor is a volume control too. so there are 2 , one in PC and one in monitor both need to be played with.
the manual is not clear on sound usage at all,
if it supports HDMI sound decorder or not, my guess only 3.5mm sound is allowed. but the manual wow, weak.
i guess w8 loaded by you? told, if yes, he PC may not support sound for w18
use real head phones or $1 ear buds at the green 3.5mm phone jack and make sure sound works first. not with monitor
if that fails its not the monitors fault. it is drives wrong
output to phone jack not selected or
volume in PS set to zero
check to make sure the starter is seated correctly to the bell housing also check for a cracked! nose cone on the starter as well and make sure the front nose casting bushing isn;t worn out and make sure they sold you the correct tooth count flywheel
Hi,
This appears to be a problem with the soundcard or device. The mic/headphone/speakers are all usually associated with the sound card. you may have had a virus attack or problems with the items drivers. Check the device has no problems:- My Computer/Control Panel/System/Device Manager ( Yellow Exclamation ) denotes Problem. Alternatively, is to disable the Mic Input Via the sound cards control Panel.
This could well be your refresh rate. Move your mouse pointer over any blank area of the screen and right click. Highlight and click on properties.Click on the settings tab, then on advanced then on to the monitor tab. You should see a setting for refresh rate eg. 75 Hertz. Change the refresh rate and the noise should disappear.
Sounds like the internal power supply is bad. The clicking as a relay in the power supply.
Try the monitor on another computer first and see if it works.

The monitor is a new HP W2207H
