42" cracked screen

I just bought an insignia 42" HDTV. I bought it two days ago and as I was bringing it in I dropped it and the screen broke from the inside. The sound works but the picture does not. Is this repairable. I am sure if it is it is gonna cost me but it would be a shame to have to get rid of a tv I have not even used yet!

If you have household insurance for damaged goods, this would be a good time to make a claim.

If there is no damage to the plastics around the TV, then who knows, it may have been cracked in the box *wink* *wink* after all, accidents happen in the factory too. ;0) I never said that though.
