Question about Bissell 1698 PowerSteamer ProHeat Upright Wet/Dry Vacuum

Not spraying or picking up water

Bissell powersteamer pro-heat plus model 1698-3. Red cap is twirling, belt is moving but machine is not spring or picking up solution. I've reposition everything and there is water in both tanks.... what now?

hi,

theres a small red filter in the head of the machine that gets clogged with hair and the machine wont draw as good, you have to find that and keep it cleaned out. FYI also-if you have pets you have to stop every few rows and check the floating bar mechanisms keep them free of hair or they will overheat the bearings and snap belts and eventually melt the bearings into the brush bar..

Pro-Heat Facility Off


The solution `wich comes out of the hose is unheated ,you could clean the rug with the machine set to the tools mode and use the hand tools .
The solution wich sprays out to the floor is heated ,you cannot turn the heater of.
